Fast Cash Payday Loans

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Gorman]Tim Gorman If you need cash now there are several options available to you. The first is your debit card, assuming you are in good standing at your bank. Just head to the ATM and faster than you can say “I need cash now”, you’ll be good to go. Another way to get dollars in hand if you need cash now is by deliberately overpaying for gas or groceries and telling the clerk you need cash now. They will give you the balance. A third way to get money if you need cash now is through your credit card company or checkbook. Some credit card companies lure you to their brand, knowing you need cash now, by offering cash advances. When you need cash now, you simply use the credit card as a debit card. You’ll be given a pin number (password) upon sign up. Then when you need cash now you’ll be able to borrow against your credit card. Other tricks credit card companies utilize in order to keep your business are checks in the mail that you can cash when you need cash now. Since everybody seems to need cash now, they know if they send you a check you’ll likely cash it without thinking about paying it off with interest later. The next time you need cash now, think twice before using one of the above mentioned methods until you recognize exactly what it is you’ll have to pay later. Sometimes when you need cash now you’re unlikely to picture the consequences all the way through. All you know is you need cash now, not later. If you or a loved one need cash now, pool your resources and go to the bank rather than relying on an unknown third party. When you need cash now it’s hard to do business with a level head, and lending companies know this. Staying In The Game

Monday, November 12th, 2007

By Nan S. Russell The message came from Human Resources. There’s nothing to worry about with the newly announced organizational changes and pending merger, it reassured. The changes will be good for the company and good for the people who work here it coached. I’ve seen a couple dozen messages like this during my career. In fact, I’ve even crafted a few. I’ve been through mergers, acquisitions, downsizings, organizational changes, personal career set-backs and a myriad of new corporate initiatives. And the best lesson I learned from all of them? Stay a player. Granted my tactics for what that meant varied with the situation. Sometimes the safest play was to keep my head down and do my work exceedingly well until I understood the new landscape. Sometimes I rolled with the punches long enough to realize what was happening might be great for the company, but not a great long term choice for me, so I moved on. Sometimes I helped others acclimate to the new direction or culture and found new opportunities emerging along the way. Sometimes the toll was personal, like when a promotion I’d worked my entire career to reach was given to an outsider. Still, I stayed in the game. I’m not saying I didn’t yell and complain to friends or go into a woe-is-me victim mode licking my wounds for a time; or require space to sort out the divergent directional messages appearing to me like a corporate minefield. I’m not wired to change with the immediacy of a remote control. But I am wired to change. I know taking myself out of the game, retiring on the job, or sitting it out on the sidelines is not a viable option if I want to be winning at working. As Charles Darwin reminds, “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” But there’s more to winning at working than survival. To grow and thrive in the corporate world you must find your resilient center and evolve. That may mean learning new skills, aligning with a new boss or company, changing direction, letting go of the way things used to be done, compromising approaches or moving on. Only fifteen percent of S& P 500 companies listed at the end of the 1950’s are still in existence fifty years later. In a Fast Company (Nov04) interview with Jim Collins, author of the best selling book, “Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies,” he advises companies to, “Preserve the core! And! Stimulate progress!” He claims, “To be built to last, you have to be built for change!” His advice is as true for successful companies as it is for successful people. You need to preserve your core and stimulate your progress. If you do, you’ll stay a player and deal with the changes coming your way. Sure, change can be painful and difficult and uncomfortable, but if you’re open to what it brings, it may surprise you. It did me. My best lifetime career opportunity came after I was denied the promotion I coveted. It never would have happened if I hadn’t stayed in the game. (c) 2005 Nan S. Russell. All rights reserved. Towel Selection - a Brief Guide to Choosing Towels

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

By D Serl Choosing the right towel at the right price isn’t that easy these days… a quick search for “towels” on the internet, shows us the huge array of textiles, styles, finishes and weights of towel that are available… With so much choice now, how can anyone decide which towels and what prices are appropriate for your needs? All towels will have a fabric weight, you will see references to “gsm” weight, and put simply, this just means the density or “amount” of fabric that has been used to make that particular towel. We believe that any towel that is below about 400gsm will feel and look thin and possibly “cheap” (hold it up to the light and see how translucent it is), but if that is what you want, it will no doubt “do the job” perfectly well. Many promises are made…about the weight of a towel, and these statements are frequently inaccurate from what we have found. This would be easy to check in a shop just by feeling the quality and weight of a given sample, holding it up to the light, checking thread finish etc, but it is ‘very difficult’ to check a towel when shopping from the web online. Before we go into the details of towels and their many variations we should dispel a common misconception, and that is that the heavier (gsm) the towel, the better. It all depends what is meant by better”…Is your idea of a quality towel softness, or is it absorbency, maybe it’s longevity, it really shouldn’t just be based on weight. It’s like saying that the car you bought had the biggest engine you could find, never mind that it looked awful, or that it handles badly (excuse the awful analogy). Sometimes a lighter weight towel can have greatabsorbency and softness, or simply be the ideal product in a business application due to the cost of replacement, cost of laundry, practicality with storage. So how do you choose?…Well the first question to ask is “what is the main use of thetowels?”, and what do you need from them. In a domestic application, a soft luxurious towel will be appreciated by the whole family (this doesn’t mean you need to get a prestigious towel from a fashion house as the quality is certainly not guaranteed in our experience). In abusiness application your needs may well be practicality of care - easy wash, quick drying, cost effective to replace etc. To add to the choices we now have variations of textiles and finish - modal fibres, bamboo, cotton of course, linen (soft and coarse) mixes and weaves etc, etc and surely more will follow. The finishes mentioned are great, and essentially all are easily cared for - no special requirements as such. You can’t really go wrong with a 100% cotton bath towel though, whatever the weight of that towel, however…of more importance would be the finish, and if it will “thread up” or keep its tight weave and quality after successive washes, and that can only be judged by trial and sample. What Towelsrus have tried to do…is provide a good broad selection of what they consider quality towels at different weights and fabrics for most every day applications. Where possible, they classify the towels by using precious metal references - Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze .. generally speaking this would denote the weight of the towel (as a reference), with the Aztex Silver Towel Range being 450gsm weight, and their most popular practical, business towels - hair dressers, salons, therapists, golf clubs, restaurants, hotels, guest houses and so many more - they are easy to wash, absorbent, hard wearing stock. The Luxury Egyptian cotton towels are 650gsm and a heavier (dense) weight, with the luxury and strength of Egyptian cotton, still regarded as a sign of quality (not necessarily the case in the near future). And of course the new kid on the block - Lenzig Modal fibre towels - 50% Natural Modal fibre and 50% cotton mix for ultimate softness and absorbency - a rare example of new blending methods of natural fibre meets natural fibre that works very well. The choice is ultimately yours…as to what you feel fits your requirements, but no matter what the choice, ensure the seams and stitches are tight, close and not “threaded” or hanging out, and always follow the care instructionsand guidelines to ensure your towels last a long time, but if you do find the odd renegade thread peeking out, simply cut it off with the scissors neatly and continue using your towel. Oh and by the way, never ever leave your towel damp and wet for too long. Once that musky smell sets in, there is no removing it, and your towel will always reek of dampness (sorry Mum!) Outstanding Business Professors at WVU, Part 2

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

By Jonathan Bentz Stratford Douglas enrolled at the University of North Carolina in an economics graduate program in 1982. Five years later, he graduated with his Ph.D. in Econometrics. After taking three years to work for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, he joined the WVU College of Business and Economics as an Economics professor in 1990. For a country like this to function well, we all need to understand the basic institutions, Douglas said. The market underlies much of what is changing in the world. Voting responsibly and participating in democracy the way we should is dependant on understanding economics. Dr. Douglas entered the world of economics after teaching at the high school level and taking a few years to see the world. Since joining the College of B&E, Douglas has brought his life experience together with his joy of teaching to make economics accessible to everyone. Many students dont know why they need to know economics, Douglas said. Most people can get through life without it, but its a point of view and a way of thinking that is helpful for a lot of people. In the 15 years Douglas has spent at WVU, he has won the B&E Outstanding Teacher Award three times, most recently in 2000. He has also been honored as Outstanding Researcher by the College of B&E twice. “Somebody 19 or 20 needs to be motivated initially, but they show me how to teach once they are engaged,” Douglas said. “Teachers make a difference in students lives by example. I try to be accessible and relate what Im teaching to what they see in the real world. Jonathan is a starving, struggling writer who aspires to work in public relations when he graduates from West Virginia University. He has worked in marketing with Advanced Internet and is currently a PR/Communications intern with WVU’s College of Business and Economics. Bentz is also a stringer for the Associated Press. Lose Weight - Successfully

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

By Kimario Williamson Weight has become a very important issue within the United States. It can lead to various serious health complications. Many people are looking to shed these extra pounds and keep them off. Losing the weight is not always hard, the challenge is finding a way to keep the weight off. There are many diets you can try but first you need to change your way of thinking. Once you have decided to lose some weight, you must commit and stay consistent. Staying consistent is the “key”. By developing a daily routine, you increase your chances of losing your desired weight. We live in a “microwave” society. Many people want to lose weight instantly. Instant weight loss can actually be a problem. A person doesn’t gain 30 pounds in a week so it is unrealistic to expect to lose that amount of weight in such a short time. Your body needs an opportunity to adjust to the physical changes that occur during fluctuations in body weight. Many food and beverage companies have adjusted to the unfortunate fact that America is unhealthy. They are providing foods that have fewer carbs and less fat. Beverages now come with little to no sugar and caffeine free. So there are alternatives that will assist you when you “change” your eating habits. You are in control of what goes into your body. There is no “quick fix” when it comes to losing weight. Weight is the result of fat, which is nothing but stored energy. You will see and feel a difference after you begin to eat the proper amounts of food. More is not always better, especially when it comes to eating food. Success is attained when you understand what you are eating. Natural foods, such as fruits, vegetables, fish and small amounts of red meat, are best when keeping a healthy body. Fast foods mainly consist of processed meats that tend to remain in the system long after a meal is eaten. There is no need to dismiss fast foods, just eat it no more than once a week. You will find it easier to keep the pounds off once you develop consistent eating habits. Kimario Williamson is a small business owner and a Biology/Pre-med graduate that left nursing school to work with the prevention phase of health. It is important to monitor your health to help contribute to a happy, longer life. The question is, Are You at RISK? Find out at http://www.akilenterprises.com/health. Get Away With The Bare Minimum!

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007

By Rebekah Slatkin We all have our very busy times of the year. For accountants, it is tax season. For wedding planners, it is wedding season. For teachers it may be report card time. During these incredibly busy times, it becomes hard to keep up with all household demands. The piles of laundry start to overflow, the mail pile takes over all flat surfaces, and the chores seem endless. In order to prevent too much of a backlog, Organizedhome.com recommends implementing the Magic Minimum in your home. Every family has different needs. However, for the most part, we all need to get to: - the bills and deposits - the laundry - food, groceries, and dishes - daily pickup - bathroom and kitchen cleanup To make your own Magic Minimum plan,”list the rock-bottom essential maintenance chores necessary to keep the household clean, fed and on time.” (Organizedhome.com) Create a simple daily and weekly chart or plan. For example, Every day: Load and run dishwasher Tidy kitchen Run one load of laundry, fold and put away Family pick-up time Every week: Review checkbook and pay bills Shop for groceries Clean bathrooms Make sure to delegate tasks and post the chore lists in a central location so everyone knows what they need to do. I hope it is a relief to know that there is indeed a way to “get away with” doing a minimum amount of housework. When you do finally get a break from the intensity of the busy time, you can get to the other chores! 5 High-Impact Marketing Tips

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

By Bob Leduc Here are 5 high-impact marketing tips you can use to boost your sales quickly. All are simple to implement and they involve little or no new expense. 1. Promote Only One Thing at a Time Promote only 1 product or service each time you advertise. Many people have difficulty selecting one product when their decision forces them to delay or reject buying something else they also want. When prospects cannot make an easy choice they often make no decision at all …and you lose the sale. Tip: Offer new customers a related product or service immediately after they buy from you. Many will accept your offer, producing an easy sale without jeopardizing the initial purchase. 2. Provide Multiple Ways for Customers to Buy Providing choices of what to buy will reduce your sales. But providing choices of how to buy will increase your sales. Offer many different ways for customers to buy from you. The same method is not convenient for everybody. Prospective customers are more likely to act immediately when their favorite way of ordering is available. 3. Avoid Your Competitors Look for some new niche markets you and your competitors overlooked. You may uncover a market you can dominate with little or no competition. One quick and easy way to find profitable new markets is to sub-divide your current market into several narrowly defined niche markets. Then customize your advertising to the unique needs of prospects in each niche market. Tip: You can narrow the appeal of an existing web site without losing its effectiveness with your main market. Just create customized web pages for each market segment you want to target. Then add a link to each of these specialized pages on your home page. 4. Use Alternative Marketing Look for alternative media your competitors may be overlooking. For example, many internet marketers are beginning to use direct mail postcards to generate traffic to their web sites. It’s a low cost way to bypass the heavy competition online. A brief captivating message on a postcard with an enticing offer sent to the right prospects will generate a flood of traffic to your website - or a large number of sales leads. Tip: Postcards are also an excellent low-cost alternative to email. People get so much email today that even legitimate messages are getting deleted unread. But they get few if any postcards. Your message is guaranteed to get their attention when it’s delivered on a postcard. 5. Encourage Questions You’re walking away from a lot of easy sales if you don’t encourage prospects to ask questions about your product or service. Only interested prospects will take the time to ask questions. Many will buy …especially if you answer their question quickly and completely. You can even include a promotion for your product or service as part of your answer. Make it easy for prospects to ask questions when they are at your web site or in other selling situations where there is no personal contact. For example, provide a phone number or an email address they can use to ask questions. Tip: If you find yourself personally answering a lot of questions, add a Questions and Answers section to your web site or your sales brochure. Include the answers to the most frequently asked questions. It will reduce the number of questions you have to answer personally. Each of these 5 marketing tips provides a simple way for you to boost your sales quickly …and for little or no new expense. Tan Lines

Sunday, November 4th, 2007

By Ross Bainbridge Tan lines are stripes formed on the body mainly due to sun tanning. Tanning is a kind of process done by many people to improve their physical beauty and sexual attractiveness. During the tanning process, people wear different kinds of clothing. The portion of the body that is not exposed to sunlight will be a lighter shade than the tanned portion. This is often referred to as tan lines. Certain people consider tan lines fashionable as it implies that tanning is done naturally on a tropical beach. Some people find tan lines sexually attractive. A perfect tan is the one with minimum tan lines. One way to minimize the tan lines is to adjust the straps of the bikini periodically. Another means is by wearing a swimsuit made of highly developed and technologically advanced fabric that offers the opportunity to get rid of tan lines altogether. The advantage of these types of swimsuits is that it allows the suns rays to pass through the fabric. It also prevents the ultraviolet rays (both UVA/UVB rays) from striking the areas that are not accustomed to tanning. Nowadays, these suits are available in a wide variety of colors and cuts and are more affordable than when they first were on the market. Yet another method to avoid tan lines is sunless tanning. Self-tanning has many advantages over the traditional suntan. In the case of self-tanning, the person himself can decide how much dark he/she should be, rather than leaving it up to chance. For those seeking no tan lines, endless varieties of strapless sandals, clothes, towels, indoor tanning lotions, and other related products are readily available, and most of these products are available online. Tan provides detailed information on Tan, Tan Lines, Self Tan, Sun Tan and more. Tan is affiliated with Lip Piercings. Relationship Tid Bits (Cold Feet Part 3)

Saturday, November 3rd, 2007

By Dale Mazurek As promised here is my third and final article on cold feet. For the most part this syndrome really isnt anything to worry about except in extreme cases. You just have to make sure you dont let these silly fears make decisions for you. So quit thinking silly thoughts about whether you should get married or not and get on with your life. Tip 4 Here’s something you could do. Just get away from everything for a while. Stop planning the wedding, stop planning the honeymoon, and just stop planning everything all together. You can get a hold of some buddies and take off for the night. Hell why dont you take off for the weekend. Chances are youre going to get into a jug of whiskey with your buddies and forget about everything. I bet by the end of the night you will be calling your partner to tell them how much you love them and how much you need them. Everything is going to be cool. Tip 5 Cold feet are normal in any pending marriage. For the most part it is the guy who suffers from it. You have to take the time to think about things. You need to talk to people. Talk to your partner, talk to family and friends. Theyre going to tell you that what youre feeling is normal. It is however important to get things figured out before the wedding because you dont want to go into your big day with doubts on your mind. So in conclusion I want you to remember to stop looking at the big picture. There is no way on this earth that we can know if were going to be good parents, or if we are going to make enough money. We dont know if the marriage will last but if you really love your partner then you have to decide that you are going to get through one thing at a time. This is the end of my miniseries on cold feet. Stories like this can be quite funny when you look back at them but in the rare occurrence they can be quite devastating. If you are suffering from cold feet then go ahead and print this out and utilize it or give it to someone else that may question you about not being sure about their wedding plans.
