I usually went into the clinic kicking and screaming. Not only because it hurt to have a needle stabbed into my arm (or anywhere), but on some deeper level I knew that vaccinations were not healthy. Now that Im older, Im capable of making my own decisions about the matter. I found that vaccinations and immunizations do more to cause illness and disease than they do to prevent it. Why do statistics report that vaccines are successful in wiping out disease? This is to uphold the long-held illusion that they work. There is so much misinformation being spread about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines. The bad reactions that occur soon after the shot are written off as standard vaccine reactions. What is left unexplained is the gradual, delayed deterioration of the immune system. Whether one child dies or 500 children die within a year of being vaccinated, it is treated as an isolated situation. So why are dangerous vaccines still being administered? This question has many answers but the most obvious is MONEY. The medical cartels mission is not to help people. It is meant to destruct. An example is the HIV hoax being perpetrated on African countries and third world nations. AIDS and SARS represents job security for groups like the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), etc. These epidemics are guaranteed funding for these agencies. If there are no epidemics, then guess what.No CDC!. No WHO! We have a system whose whole existence depends on the discovery of new, threatening epidemics. Every year a new epidemic is rolled out that is bigger and badder than last year’s. It was West Nile Virus a few years agothen SARSand now, soon to be released.Bird flu. If the medical cartel is going to be overthrown it needs to happen NOW, while we still have the freedom to accept or reject medicine. Oppressive legislation such as Codex aims to take away that freedom. Dont let em fool you! The vaccination issue needs to be thoroughly considered. Dont be coerced and harassed into vaccinating your child. You will meet resistance with programmed school officials who make you feel like a criminal for not allowing your child to be vaccinated. They will call you a bad parent. If you are well-informed you can buck the system. But only you can make that decision. The cartel is banking on you succumbing to fear and pressure. Every state has exemptions that can be declared based on religious and/or philosophical views. The fight has to start somewhere. You can fight better on your feet, than you can on your back. In other words, dont wait until youre down or backed into a corner to start taking action that just might be too late. There must have been 15 people standing in the cold, starting their evening wait for a bed for the night. Some of them had their possessions piled into a shopping cart. Others carried bags and were wrapped in blankets. It was hard to tell, but on this evening, it appeared to be mostly men who were waiting. When I saw them huddled together in the dimness of the street light, my eyes welled up and I said a quiet blessing and sent it their way. I got as far as one block away before the tears spilled over and I realized they were tears of anger. How dehumanizing for people to have to gather in the hope that they will get a thin mat on the floor for the night. How demoralizing if they have counted those lined up before them and know that they may be the one that doesnt get in. How unimaginable that they then must find a quiet spot behind a dumpster somewhere and by carefully arranging their cardboard and blankets, somehow manage to protect themselves from the elements. Ive had some interesting experiences recently. A few health issues, disappointments around work related stuff, some incredibly bad customer service and a few other annoying things. Its called life and there are no guarantees that it will be an easy journey for any of us. But these annoyances vanished when I drove by this motley collection of tattered looking souls shivering together on the corner of the street that night. There are those who think that street people are there due to being inept at this thing called life. Perhaps this is true for some. Or that they are there due to addiction issues. Again, might be true for some. Some of the street people may have mental health challenges and are therefore unable to take their medication correctly. Then there are the working poor who earn minimum wage and who simply cannot find, nor afford a place of their own. They are someones child, someones wife, someones dad, someones daughter. They are living, breathing, walking, talking human beings who have feelings, wants, needs, desires and amazingly, hope. Do not fool yourself that you could never be in this situation. Remember the 1980s when CEOs lost their job and ended up living in their cars with their families. I know for certain they never thought they would have to live on the street. That was not their life goal. Poverty diminishes a person, strips humans of their soul and leaves them vulnerable to the point of being emotionally raw in so many different ways. It is so disempowering. Better yet, offer to volunteer. I promise you will be changed by what you see. Then you will have the opportunity to be part of that special few. By Darren Kavinoky How do CA courts deal with FSTs that are not performed in accordance with NHTSA? The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) has done extensive studies of field sobriety testing (FSTs) in order to determine the probability of intoxication. Law enforcement agencies have utilized FSTs for many years to develop probable cause for arrest and as evidence to be used in the prosecution for drunk driving. However, not all FSTs have been scientifically determined to be accurate reflectors of alcohol intoxication. NHTSA has determined that three FSTs are accurate indicators of alcohol intoxication, when administered in a standardized manner. These tests are called Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs): 1. Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN). HGN is an eye test that is 77% accurate in reflecting a blood alcohol count (BAC) above .10%. Nystagmus is an involuntary jerking of the eyes at a certain angle, off to the side. 2. Walk-and-Turn (WAT). WAT is a walking test that is 68% accurate in reflecting a BAC above .10%. 3. One-Leg Stand (OLS). OLS is a test done in a stationary position that is 65% accurate in reflecting a BAC above .10%. The HGN in combination with the WAT reflects an 80% accuracy rate in determining a BAC above .10%. The WAT and the OLS are divided attention tests. Divided attention tests require a subject to listen to and follow instructions while performing simple physical movements. Sober individuals are supposed to perform these tests with no problem. Impaired individuals, however, have difficulty with tasks requiring their attention to be divided between simple mental and physical exercises. As mentioned above, law enforcement agencies utilize FSTs in addition to SFSTs. The SFSTs have an advantage in that they have scientific backing. However, FSTs do not have such scientific data to support the conclusion that the drunk driving subject is intoxicated. Examples of FSTs include: the Rhomberg Balancing Test, Finger to Nose, Alphabet Test, Count Down, and Hand Pat, among many others. Even though the FSTs do not have scientific backing reflecting reliability, most courts will still admit the tests into evidence. In California, courts allow all FSTs into evidence, but defense counsel can attack the weight of the evidence by challenging the reliability of the non-standardized tests. Other states only allow the actual SFSTs into evidence.
